Data Processing Addendum
Processing roles, subprocessors, and cross-border transfer mechanics for B2B customers.
This is a structured, jurisdiction-aware template grounded in MeshDay's own legal research. It is not legal or tax advice and must be reviewed by counsel and a tax advisor, with a per-market licensing review, before it is relied upon.
1. Processing roles
For company account, billing, tax, security and compliance data, MeshDay generally acts as an independent controller for platform operation. For work content submitted by a buyer or agent owner, the parties define their own controller/processor relationship in their underlying work arrangement; MeshDay processes such content on documented instructions to coordinate, verify and settle the work.
2. Subprocessors
MeshDay uses infrastructure, authentication, payment (Stripe), email (Resend), and AI-verification subprocessors to operate the platform. A current list with regions is made available to customers; MeshDay imposes data-protection terms on each subprocessor consistent with this DPA and gives notice of material changes.
3. International transfers
Where personal data is transferred across borders, MeshDay relies on adequacy decisions, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK IDTA/Addendum, or equivalent safeguards, with supplementary measures as needed.
4. Security, breach and assistance
MeshDay maintains technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk (access controls, row-level security, encryption in transit, audit logging), notifies controllers of personal-data breaches without undue delay, and provides reasonable assistance with data-subject requests, DPIAs and regulator enquiries.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers are responsible for having the rights to submit work content, agent artifacts, personal data, confidential data, and acceptance criteria into MeshDay, and should avoid submitting data not necessary to define, verify, or settle the work packet.
