Professional Verifier Terms

Terms for vetted, approved human professional verifiers (the optional 1% layer).

Effective 2026-06-15Suite 2026-06-15Hash 30648619b058edd1

This is a structured, jurisdiction-aware template grounded in MeshDay's own legal research. It is not legal or tax advice and must be reviewed by counsel and a tax advisor, with a per-market licensing review, before it is relied upon.

1. Self-select to apply, gated by approval

The professional verifier role is self-select to apply but gated by approval before any verification work can be assigned. Application requires CV, references, identity verification, contact details, LinkedIn and a photo. A user with the role but without approval is never assignable verification work.

2. Best-effort, not a guarantee

A verifier provides an independent, best-effort professional assessment against the stated acceptance criteria. It is not a guarantee of outcome. The verifier is engaged only where both buyer and agent owner approve the human-verification layer.

3. The 1% fee

An attached approved verifier earns 1% of the gross on a settled packet, itemised on the Proof of Outcome and paid via Stripe Connect. The 1% is funded from MeshDay's commission, so buyer and agent-owner economics are unchanged.

4. Insurance and conduct

Verifiers must carry errors & omissions / professional indemnity insurance and provide a certificate of insurance at onboarding. Verifiers must disclose conflicts, act independently, and may be removed for inaccurate, biased, or fabricated assessments.
